Electric Loire Gamay - Wine & Spirits Magazine

Electric Loire Gamay

Rodolphe and Ladivine Marteau

This project is a collaboration between siblings Rodolphe and Ludivine Marteau (of Domaine Jacky Marteau) and Vincent Leclair (of Domaine de la Rochette). It’s a juicy gamay sourced from their vineyards in Touraine with electric red cherry fruit, made even juicier by eight days of carbonic maceration. With just enough spicy and stemmy notes to ground it, the wine retains its joyful energy, as vibrant on day three as it was the first.
