A Fresh Campanian Red - Wine & Spirits Magazine

A Fresh Campanian Red

Cesare Avenia vinifies his pallagrello nero entirely in stainless steel to give unfettered expression to this native Campanian variety. The 2017 bottling offers juicy raspberry and red plum flavors layered with notes of fresh tarragon and red licorice. Round and approachable, it’s an appealing wine on its own or with lighter dishes.
