Martini & Rossi, known for vermouth, has launched an alternative to Campari. Based on a recipe from Luigi Rossi, one of the founders of the company, it’s a touch sweeter and fuller in body than Campari, with fragrant botanical notes and bright orange flavor. Used in a Negroni, it makes for a full-bodied cocktail; it’s also terrific in the Sbagliato version, playing up the briskness of the sparkling wine in the drink.
