Months after acquiring Diamond Creek, Maison Louis Roederer President & CEO Frédéric Rouzard will add new personnel in two key roles. Nicole Carter, president at Merry Edwards Winery, will step into the leadership role at Diamond Creek. Graham Wehmeier will take over the winemaker position under the stewardship of longtime winemaker Phil Steinschriber.
Maison Louis Roederer purchased the property in early 2020 from the Brounstein family. (You can read Josh Greene’s remembrance of Adele “Boots” Brounstein, who passed away at the age of 92 last year here.) Diamond Creek produces some of the top wines from the Diamond Mountain District in Napa Valley.
