Here Are the 2019 James Beard Nominees for Outstanding Wine and Bar Programs

Old and new among this year’s semifinalists


The James Beard nominees have been announced and there were some familiar names among the 20 semifinalists for Outstanding Wine Program.

Back again for 2019 were such favorites as Benu, Miller Union, and Pappas Bros. Breaking into the list this year were Brooklyn’s Ops, Charleston’s Stems & Skins, and Atomix (also a best new restaurant nominee), where Jhonel Faelnar helms the list.
