2020
Moderate summer temperatures with some rain, a warm September and a dry October led to slow, extended ripening of the grapes. Many of the wines are balanced and classic.
2019
Cooler than average, the season had few heat spikes. Excellent for white wines, good for reds.
2018
A challenging year, with high rainfall in August and October causing swelling of the berries, thin skins and problems with rot. Red wines are generally lighter than is typical, with lower alcohol and higher acidity levels.
2017
An April frost reduced the potential crop in some areas, while intense heat and dry conditions through the summer led to deeply concentrated red wines.
