Dear importers and wineries,
With new mandates put in place in both Los Angeles and New York City due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are not able to accept deliveries to either office at this time.

August 2020 Tastings FAQ
If my wines fit within the current regions, how do I proceed?
Please use the online form to submit your wines from April 6th to April 17th. You will receive an e-mail confirming which wines to send as well as further delivery instructions within 24 hours.
What happens to wines that have been shipped and accepted for the August 2020 issue?
Our team will taste these wines after we are cleared by state and federal mandates and can return to work at our offices. We will taste these wines as New Releases for the first issue in which we resume our regular tasting protocols; they will not incur any fees.
I would like to submit wines for the August issue new release section.
At this time, we are only tasting wines in the narrow focuses, as published in the new schedule. We will not be able to consider new release wines outside of those focuses for the August issue, so please do not submit them. We will begin covering new releases outside of focus regions when we resume our regular tasting protocols.
I submitted for a focus region in the August issue but now that focus region is not being considered.
We regret that we can only cover wines for the August issue as outlined in our new August categories. We will plan to taste all wines previously submitted for the August issue as a new release for the next issue in which we resume our regular tasting protocols and they will not incur any fees.
I wanted to submit wines for the previous August focus regions but you were not able to receive them.
You may submit wines that fit within the old August focus regions once we reopen our office. They will be tasted as new releases in the next issue in which we resume our regular tasting protocols, and they will not incur any fees.
When may I submit sparkling wines?
We will not be tasting sparkling wines until we return to our offices and to our traditional tasting protocol.
When can I send wines to the W&S offices again for review?
Unfortunately, we do not know when we will be cleared to be back in our offices. Once we resume normal operations, we will keep you updated on how we will proceed with the next issue's tastings.

• Wine & Spirits Magazine does not have an importer license and therefore cannot provide COLA waivers.
• Any samples sent from outside the U.S. must be cleared through a licensed U.S. importer.
• Any wine received that does not have the digital submission form submitted will not be tasted by our panels.
• Please, no tank samples or shiners with handwritten stickers.
