Conveniently located in Addison, halfway between the residential centers of Plano and North Dallas, Mercy Wine Bar is a must-stop for wine enthusiasts. With 100 wines from 18 countries available by the glass or half glass, plus 250 wines by the bottle, there’s something for everyone. General manager and wine director Vincent Havard offers a sense of security with Krug, Cakebread, Plumpjack and La Jota while keeping the adventurous happy with wines like a Yunquera Albillo, Inniskillin Cabernet Franc Icewine and Grangeon Chatus, a variety that’s produced by only three estates in the world. It pays to strike up a conversation with the staff here, too: Havard always has about 50 wines off the list.
