Expect a wait at this pizzeria: There are only four tables, and they’re hotly coveted. Not only because of the pizza, thin-crusted, blistered and topped with whatever’s in its seasonal prime, or the fact that staff offers blankets to customers waiting in the Outer Richmond fog. But also because of the wine list: It’s short, and yet delivers exactly what you might want, whether fizzy Txakoli or a marinara-friendly Cerasuolo di Vittoria from Portelli—all by the glass or bottle. If you’d like something stronger, head around the corner to Pearl, the Pizzetta crew’s new all-day café, where Nahiel Nazzal’s inventive cocktail program has been drawing raves.
