Drink, in Boston’s up-and-coming Fort Point neighborhood, is a bar sans widescreen televisions and neon beer signage, or even a cocktail list. Instead, name a liquor or ingredient, or leave it up to John Gertsen’s team of mixologists, and they might conjure up a Ward 8, a perfect Negroni or a Shirley Temple. The canapés-steamy cheese gougères and duck lollipops-are excellent, too. This is another part of chef Barbara Lynch’s carefully growing dynasty (9 Park, B & G Oysters), as is her casual Sportello upstairs, serving crazy good pastas with Italian wines to match.
