The class, offered in both a 10-week daytime course and a 17-week evening program, is specifically aimed at aspiring professionals seeking careers in the wine industry. The teachers include some of the most respected names in wine: Pascaline Lepeltier, Ian Cauble, Christopher Bates, Dennis Kelly and Kathy Morgan are among the 11 Master Sommeliers on the faculty. The school also offers the option of taking the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Introductory and Certified exams on site.
The first scholarship offered applies only to the program at the Silicon Valley, CA campus; a scholarship for the NYC location is in the works. The next program starts in May.
