Samantha Groseth has been appointed Associate Publisher in charge of sales and marketing at Wine & Spirits Magazine. In her new role, she will be managing a growing team to build the reach of Wine & Spirits through events, promotions, digital media and partnerships.
Samantha joined Wine & Spirits in the summer of 2011 as a sales associate, after working in strategic planning at Boston Globe Media. She immediately impressed our team with her problem-solving skills as well as the sunny California demeanor she brought to our New York office. Since moving back to the West Coast to join our San Francisco office in 2013, she has taken on a management role for the sales and marketing team.
Kate Grehl, Account Manager
In her travels west, Samantha also brought Hip-Hop Thursdays to our San Francisco office, a New York tradition she left in the hands of DJ Kate Grehl, our East Coast sales associate, who’s now moving into the position of Account Manager. In her new role, Kate is taking on clients on both coasts, as well as using her strengths in marketing to develop creative partnerships inside and outside the wine community. Kate continues to develop the wine knowledge she brought to the magazine in 2012, having worked in wine retail, and recently passing the intermediate level exam at the WSET at the International Wine Center in New York.
