Wally’s - Wine & Spirits Magazine

Wally’s

Five years ago, Wally’s was just a wine shop, a Westwood institution and hooch purveyor to the stars. Then, founder Steve Wallace sold his interest to Guess jeans tycoons Maurice and Paul Marciano. Less than two years later, with partner Christian Navarro, they opened Wally’s Beverly Hills (and a Santa Monica satellite), a lavish retail store/wine bar/restaurant, where pub food meets caviar blinis, the well-heeled rub elbows with the flip-flopped at communal tables, and the wine selection is vast. Tour the reserve room, where you can ogle magnums of ’79 Pétrus and other rarities.
