WINeFare, the first tasting featuring women who make and import natural wine, will be held on March 16 and 17 at the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco. This year will be the biggest WINeFare yet, with 75 women-run wineries and importers from California, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, France, Italy, Mexico, and Spain. Founded by The Vinguard in 2018 to give women natural winemakers a platform for their work and consumers of all genders a safe, respectful and inclusive space for wine tasting, WINeFare is a unique event in several respects. In addition to the tasting, the 2024 programming includes: · Forums on Vineyard Workers’ Rights and Protections and Making Regenerative Viticulture More Accessible. · A winemaker dinner on Saturday, March 16, open to the public at The Ruby, catered by Reems and Souley Vegan.
