The Generous Pour

The Capital Grille hosts The Generous Pour, a summer wine tasting event featuring three wines by winemaker Nicole Hitchcock of J Vineyards and four wines from Dave Phinney’s labels, including 8 Years in the Dessert and Department 66——his wine from Provence, France. The tasting is $35 with dinner and can be paired with courses off of The Capital Grille’s menu, like oysters with the Department 66 rosé, J Vineyards pinot gris with the tuna tartare and Phinney’s Abstract Red with the dry-aged NY strip. The tasting runs nightly from July 3 through Sept. 3 at all Capital Grille locations across the country.
