Trade Show Postponements Due to Coronavirus

The spread of the novel coronavirus has caused organizers to postpone trade shows around the world. In an effort to slow the rate of infection and ensure that hospital systems are not inundated with new cases, large gatherings and public events are being postponed and cancelled. Here is a list of trade show postponements. We will continue to update this list with new developments.

  • The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, scheduled for May, has been postponed.

  • The Pomerol Séduction En Primeur tastings of the 2019 vintage have been cancelled.

  • The Hermes Expo has postponed its four events planned to take place during early April in New York City, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Chicago.

  • The American Distilling Institute Craft Spirits Conference and Expo will be postponed.

  • Descorchados Miami and New York have been cancelled.

  • Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles 2020 has been cancelled.

  • The Grand Cercle des Vins de Bordeaux will cancel all of its En Primeur events. They were to be held March 24-April 1.

  • Wine on Wheels New York has been postponed. The organizers plan to reschedule at a later date.

  • The 77th Annual Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention and Exposition has been cancelled.

  • The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux has suspended the 2019 En Primeur week scheduled to take place at the end of March in Bordeaux.

  • Pebble Beach Food and Wine 2020 has been cancelled. It was originally scheduled for April 16-19.

  • RAW WINE London 2020 has been postponed.

  • Messe Düsseldorf has cancelled ProWein 2020. The fair will be held next year, from March 21-23, 2021.

  • Taste of Italy Houston (March 29-30), Taste of Italy New Orleans (March 31), and Savor Italy Los Angeles (April 2) postponed.

  • Vinitaly has been rescheduled to June 14-17.

  • Both Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne and the Grandes Maisons Grands Crus (scheduled for March 9-13) have been postponed indefinitely.

  • Vinexpo Hong Kong will be rescheduled to July 8-10 (originally scheduled for 26-28 May).

  • Oenorama will be postponed until May 3-5 from its original scheduled dates March 7-9. Greek authorities have already banned carnivals, and event organizers have preemptively rescheduled to avoid a potential trade fair ban.

  • The 102nd China Food & Drinks Fair was postponed on February 4. A new date has not yet been announced.
