We’re looking for a creative, organized individual to join our integrated media company.  We are an information resource to the wine and spirits community, providing perspective, new ideas and credible third-party product endorsements through print and digital media, events and seminars/education.  The candidate will work closely with our Publisher and Marketing Manager to manage the membership aspect of the business as well as assist with events and communication.

This full-time role includes, but is not limited to:


  • Manage membership lists via website, with support from tech team
  • Liaise with members over website access and print edition delivery issues
  • Manage billing and renewal programs, with support from tech team
  • Work with marketing manager to research and build trade lists
  • Work with publisher to build membership lists
  • Work with editors to develop membership promotions
  • Provide mailing labels to printer by deadline for each issue
  • Liaise with subscription agencies. (EBSCO, Prenax, etc.)
  • Manage magazine inventory at printing plant with publisher
  • Handle back-issue and bulk-sale orders


  • Liaise with wineries and distilleries invited to participate, seeing them through every step from table sale to event day
  • Assist marketing manager with event-related tasks in the two weeks leading up to each event
  • Foster current relationships with key trade and media while continually adding new and important trade members to Wine & Spirits’ network


  • Work with marketing manager to create content and copy for email communications
  • Work with marketing manager to develop and maintain Mailchimp audiences
  • Oversee eblast calendar for editorial, events, sales, and marketing to ensure optimal timing of communications
  • Work with marketing manager and account manager to grow and increase engagement with our email subscribers
  • Report communications strategy and KPIs to leadership on a regular basis

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills are a must
  • Attention to detail necessary for all daily responsibilities
  • Wine knowledge and publishing experience a plus
  • Experience with Mailchimp and ClickUp
  • An experienced (non-manager) employee with 3+ years’ experience working in a professional setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel as well as Google Suite and ability to work in both a PC and Mac environment
