Tartine Manufactory

In the daytime, Tartine Manufactory is like Willie Wonka for the carb-obsessed, as you never know what deliciousness the huge bread ovens will deliver next; in the evening, as the ovens cool off, the space morphs into an airy full-service restaurant. Like the menu, which pledges allegiance to seasonal, sustainable ingredients but to no single cuisine, Vinny Eng’s wine list spans the world for thought-provoking drinks. That might mean Marie Courtin Champagne from the Côtes des Bar, or Mendocino chenin blanc from Wine Gap assistant winemaker Jaimee Motley.
