Everson Royce Bar - Wine & Spirits Magazine

Everson Royce Bar

Everson Royce Bar is what you get when wine retailers carve out a niche in DTLA’s nightlife. Randy Clement and April Langford, who own a piece of Pasadena’s Everson Royce and other vital neighborhood wine shops in Silver Lake and Highland Park, have opened a boisterous bar with a wine program that thoroughly overdelivers. Langford’s wine list includes selections from cutting-edge California producers whom the duo count as friends, including Arnot-Roberts and Scholium Project. Don’t miss the casually surrealist tasting notes: Stolpman’s smoky Para Maria blend is described as “untouched forest floor, fresh dynamite, fetish.” Yes.
