Park Hyatt Mendoza - Wine & Spirits Magazine

Park Hyatt Mendoza

Park Hyatt Mendoza makes a grand tour of Argentina’s wine country as simple as booking a room. A much-needed renovation of the 19th-century Plaza Hotel, this five-star hotel now serves as wine central for Mendoza, with a two-story Wine Library showcasing 2,500 bottles of Argentine wine catalogued with hundreds of wine books. Serious students will pull a book and settle down to a glass of torrontes or malbec, while more social study will take place in Uvas, the wine bar/cocktail lounge with a view of Mendoza’s verdant central plaza. Come dinner time, study continues at Bistro M, the focus particularly on matching wine with grilled meat. And between sessions, dozens of wineries are just minutes away. It doesn’t get much more convenient than that.
