Great King Street Glasgow Blend

A new release from Compass Box’s Great King Street blended whisky line, the Glasgow Blend uses a high proportion of malt whiskies from Islay, Speyside and the Highlands blended with an aged grain whisky from the Lowlands—a nod to the robust style of whisky once popular in Scotland's largest city. Aged in a mix of Sherry casks, used Bourbon barrels and new French oak, it’s tightly integrated and full of character, with smoke, apricot and a marshmallow-like sweetness. You could use it in a Rob Roy but it’s complex enough to drink neat.
