HARRISON's Manhattans are reportedly stirred exactly 30 times. This sleek new restaurant, located in Portland's Fox Tower, features close to 20 Bourbons, which range from Bulleit to Pappy Van Winkle. Harrison's bar consultant, Ryan Magarian, devised an "Old School" Bourbon cocktail list that features his-and-hers Manhattans for $9 each: his is mixed from Woodford Reserve and Licor 43, and hers is infused with a touch of Stoli Vanil. "The sweetness of Bourbon makes it easy to mix," explains Magarian. The Vanil, presumably, makes it easier.
