Jsix, conveniently a soft toss from the left field corner of PETCO Park, fields a winning line-up of coastal food and wine, from British Columbia to Baja. Chef Deborah Schneider, whose coastal experience extends to the Mediterranean, skewers and spices bites of lamb, roasts poblanos for soup and enlivens kobe beef and avocado with tomatillo salsa. To match her food, Rich Trioani has assembled 100-plus coastal wines, from Santo Tomas Barbera (Baja) to Jackson-Triggs ice wine from the Okanagan Valley. Maybe the ballgame can wait.
