Esperanza Esperanza offers wine lovers much more than agave for their Latin American get-aways. The 56-room luxury hotel on a pair of private coves in Cabo San Lucas is the latest property from Auberge Resorts, the owner of Napa's Auberge du Soleil, San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, and Skylonda, just south of San Francisco. With Esperanza, they've turned their attention south, gathering a selection of bottles from California both Baja and Sud - be sure to try the Bordeaux-style Monte Xanic from Guadalupe Valley - as well as from Mexico, Argentina and Chile, to complement the Provençal-influenced warm-weather cuisine.
