Wine & Spirits Magazine presents HOT PICKS, a two city tasting event that features our critics' favorite wines—the wines that they are drinking right now. The event showcases, young wine professionals and local restaurants.

T H E  W I N E S

Our critics taste and evaluate more than 9,000 wines a year. Their favorite wines—what they deem accessible, delicious and affordable—comprise the "Critics Picks" list, published in the June issue. These are the wines that they scour wine lists and retail shelves for daily—what's in their fridge and on the table at their dinner parties. HOT PICKS events feature these wines. The May event coincides with the release of the June issue.

In keeping with Wine & Spirits Magazine's mission to raise awareness of water conservation issues, a portion of the event proceeds will benefit local water conservation organizations (Los Angeles: Surfrider; Seattle: the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance), who will be on site to offer volunteer opportunities and education about regional water quality.

HOT PICKS events recognize America's top young wine professionals and heighten awareness of water conservation while connecting young wine professionals and wine consumers.
