Many people are asking how they can help the vintners and wine country workers who’ve lost their homes and livelihoods in the North Coast fires. Here are some places to give; email us at info@wineandspiritsmagazine if you know of more.

Kimberly Noelle Charles, founder of Charles Communications in San Francisco, is running a drive at gofundme.com/fire-relief-napa-sonoma-counties to raise funds to purchase cots, sleeping bags, nonperishable foods, hygienic items, kids’ pajamas that her team will deliver to the distribution center at Mentor Me at the Cavanagh Rec Center, which is sheltering 500 evacuees currently.

Jake Kloberdanz of OneHope in Napa has sent up a fund at Napa Sonoma Fires with proceeds to be distributed evenly among Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority (Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority ); Napa County Fire Department and Lake County Fire and Rescue

The Napa Valley Community Foundation is accepting donations to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund at napavalleycf.org/fire-donation-page

The Red Cross is accepting donations for disaster relief at https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Airbnb is looking for homes to house evacuees from the fires, and connecting evacuees with free lodging through October 31: airbnb.com/welcome/evacuees/northerncaliforniafireevacuees
